This Drupal site provides a "sandbox" for you to experiment with blogging as part of the IPL 15 Things: Blogging Hands-On Activity : http://ipl.ci.fsu.edu/community/wiki/index.php/Blogs#Hands_on_Activity

Here you can practice posting to a blog. Note that the blogs here are cleared out daily, so that your blog postings will not be a permanent record. To experiment with blogging here without registering an account, use the login: test and password: sandbox.

You can also practice here adding comments to another person's blog entry. As with the blogs, these comments in the "blog sandbox" will be cleared daily rather than being maintained here permanently.
